bent toes

we have some month old chicks and a few of their toes are really bent they were fine a few days ago what would cause this?

I'm not entirely sure what causes it, although I believe that the bedding plays a big role. I've also heard that curled toes can be caused by some kind of vitamin deficiency. Someone with more experience will come along and tell you, though. Don't worry.
