You need to check with you municipality's comprehensive/master plan. Each township/city have their own laws and regulations in regards to chicken raising. That, or you can contact the township administrator, that's the easiest way.

yes it is different for each town. Some town allow chickens while others is straight up NO.
Harrington Park allows chickens. Up to 5 chickens for below 20000 sq ft, 10 chickens above 20000 sq ft.
