Our Americauna Bert laid for the first time today. It is gorgeous!! (If I don't say so myself!) Very skinny first egg

What a BIG first egg! My pullet just laid her first egg and it was A LOT smaller than that!

Well, she is almost 9 months old - she waited quite a while to put that egg out! It is also very skinny, but doesn't show in this photo. Yes, I am thrilled! Our first non-brown egg! Here are some better photos to show size.
