Bessie, my 5-year-old Black Star chicken, got to come into the house to have a bath plus some feathers trimmed. She has been acting low energy and a bit sluggish, but is recovering really well. I put amprolium powder in her water, and gave her molasses water straight in her mouth, and that really seemed to help give her more energy and an appetite. Her bum feathers were starting to clump together because she was having wet, messy poop, so she "suffered" long enough for me to wash and trim them.
