Best age to introduce peachick to older peafowl

I have a 10 week old peachick that has been raised alone in pen. She is a healthy and vibrant chick and is doing very well. But I hate that she is alone and wonder at what age I should try to integrate her into our aviary where I have 3 yearling peafowl. I have brought the peachick over during the day a few times trying to get them all used to one another - I have the peachick in a separate area inside the pen so she is safe but the older birds seem aggressive to her. Any suggestions on how old she should be before putting her in with the big birds?

How's your chick doing?

I put her in with the older birds when she was about 5 months old. The others kept her in her place but did not hurt her. She was, however, a loner. While the others would do things together and groom one another she was alone. I would go out every day and sit with her so she had some company. Then when she was about 8 months old she very quickly took sick and died. I had treated her with ivermectin along with the other birds and dusted her with permethrin to address a flea problem that had erupted in the pen. A few days later she died. I was devastated. Don't know if I did something to hurt her with the treatment or if it was the fleas or what. I haven't gotten over it yet. Thank you for following up and asking. These are lessons hard to bear.

Many birds are lost to unknown complications that we never learn the answer to. I miss many special birds too but all we can do is all we can do.
