Best Ameraucana color variety to cross with ?? to get red color EE

Anyone if I want a red EE like a Rode Island red, what would be a good
Ameraucana variety to use in a cross.

I thought perhaps a buckeye hen and buff Ameraucana Rooster.

Last night I heard of buckeyes being crossed with ameraucanas (can't recall the colour, sorry); all the offspring were buckeye-coloured with beards. Their owner was jokingly wondering what to show them as--the answer was "bearded buckeye." Lots of chuckles.
