Best and worst Christmas presents?

Pics
I have a good one. My hubby and I don't do presents, instead we go out for dinner and split the bill. Sometimes we go somewhere relatively fancy or expensive, so it's a treat.
Well, this year we decided to go for sushi. Now, I am allergic to shrimp & tuna so I stay away from those. The dish I got had salmon and crab, which I have never had issues with. Food was great & it was a lovely dinner. However, that night as I was laying in bed I noticed my hands were quite sore. They felt chapped or wind burned, and I had been outside in the cold/wind all weekend so I figured that's what happened. It got so bad that I woke up & flipped on the light to check it out and discovered I had hives starting. They covered my hands & were starting up my arms and neck. Thankfully a couple of anti-histamines took care of it and it did not progress. So merry chirstmas to me! I am either now allergic to salmon and/or crab OR the restaurant prepared my food awfully close to shirmp/tuna (because I know there was no shrimp/tuna in my actual dish). 🤦‍♀️
And as a side note, my hubby insisted we NOT go for sushi because of my allergy buuuuttttt.... I really wanted it. LOL

My first thought was those would be terrible in the snow. But not a problem you have

I have a nice pair of sorels for snow anyway. We go up and play enough to make it worth the investment. Right gear for the conditions and all that.
