Best bedding for unneutered male rabbit?

My male bunny hasn’t been neutered yet and what is the best bedding that reduces the smell of the urine and poop?

The cage I have is extra large and measuring about 5ft long.

How much larger is this as opposed to what OP posted? And honestly, maybe pet keepers think differently, but that cage is enormous compared to what a lot of people keep their breeder rabbits in.

Our rabbits were never fixed, but they also were outside and on wire so we didn't have to worry about a constant pee smell. When we traveled for shows though, we kept them on pine shavings. The pine smell helped a bit as long as they didn't spray out of the cage
