I think that will depend on what kind of chicks you are raising. Just about any chicks will start out of medicated chick feed. I prefer Purina Start and Grow.

We have a local organic feed available. But of the commercial brands, I prefer Purina SunFresh Start & Grow or Flock Raiser.
