Best Breeds For Your $?

I want to start raising squab, but don't want to spend a bunch of $ on King Pigeons (or something similar in terms of $).
I was also thinking of getting some rare mutations of ringneck dove to breed, and, later sell as pets (im just looking for one that looks cool) Any ideas on what breeds/mutations to get?

Hubble's they are more productive than kings and are kind of cool to look at.

Hubbels are kings. Hubble was a utility king breeder and his strain of birds were named after him when he died. Kings aren't expensive? Depending on where you get them I guess.

around here Kings cost about $100+ a pair! Its crazy!

In my experince Hubble's line of utility birds are different than any king i have seen. I have both utility kings and hubbles. The birds are different in several aspects. Size, type and production. A good hubble is hard to beat.

Utility kings are inexpensive out here. Several large breeders are cutting back or going out of business all together.
