I can't break my dogs' treats in half! I wish I could though, at least Dorie's because they are a bit large. I usually use their regular kibble. But occasionally they'll get some freeze-dried liver or chicken.

Ah that’s smart! Brewster won’t eat his regular kibble for treats. I’ve tried LOL He loveeeeessss Milkbones and Beggin strips though. And his birthday cake cookies I got him for his birthday. He loves those lol but everything is so high calorie when I give the strips I break them up into teeny pieces way more than half.

I tried Beggin trips. They were too rich for mine. I use the old Roy bacon and jerky strips instead. They have way less fat. I also use the moist and meaty as treats.

Mine won't fall for the dog food as a treat either. They know their rights.

So far I haven’t had issues with them but if I ever do, I’ll look into those. And he loves the moist and meaty too. I got some a month or two ago but we ran out already lol

I am working on the new ones with less stuff. I know it's me that has the problem. Dogs will go along with anything.
