Best chicken breeds for Spokane WA

Hi there! I’m new to BYC and also just moved to Spokane WA, I’m getting back into chickens and so excited! I want to have them as pets and for eggs. My question is what chicken breeds do better in Spokane as I want to make sure I get the appropriate breeds for the climate so I can have The best success and not cause my chickens to stress. I’d love to here from you guys! Thanks!

Most breeds should do okay where you live. Breeds like Orpingtons, Australorp, barred rocks, welsummer, Easter eggers, and any other dual purpose breeds make good pets and lay fairly well.
