Best Chicken Mix Projects (Anyone who has done a project can post here)

I don't know that I believe this cross. Last time I saw sebrights, they were a tiny little bird-- I highly doubt that one could be covered by either of the two breeds you mentioned if the other breeds were good breeder quality.

Let alone, something with a mentinable ammount of such tiny blood produce a bird of this size as shown in the pictures.

All birds were hatchery birds. I wouldn't believe it either if I hadn't seen it happening.

Indian heaven that will be an awesome cross! Well, I just candled my dozen cross eggs yesterday at day 8 (Yes, this is my first time and no, I couldn't wait a minute longer

) and they are all showing development! I could even see good vein formation on 3. It's going well!

It didn't go too well

. They all had good development up until the day before hatch. Then, the broody mama decided she was done. The eggs all froze to death by the time I found them. I tried to incubate some myself but they all rotted. So none from that batch. I put some more in a friends incubator, same crosses, and they are due to hatch the 22nd. My friend told me they all have growing chicks! Maybe this time! I sold another friend some of these same hatching eggs and they hatched today. So far he has two that look like wellies with fat cheeks, 2 yellow with black chipmunk stripes, and a couple more still hatching!

Pretty much straight white cornish... They have some Brahma blood way back, a touch of Cochin, and another pinch of White Cornish.


They are throwback whites- from the blue laced red Cornish project-- bred back to good white show quality cornish...
