best cold hardy geese

Does anyone know the best geese breed(s) that are good cold hardy?

Most geese are quite cold hardy. I live in Michigan and my geese (Pilgrim and Sebastopol) stay out all winter. They have a shelter that they rarely use. One of the smaller Sebastopols would go into the three sided shelter if it was windy. Sebastopols may be a little less cold hardy than most geese because their feathers don't lay as flat as typical breeds. I kept the water in the pond from freezing by keeping the water running with a pump and adding fresh running water to the pond constantly. They would go in the water to swim no matter what the temperature.

Thanks for the info. The pilgrim geese are one type of geese that I was planning on getting.
