Best company to order day old chicks from

What is the Best company to order day old chicks from? I have only done day old chicks one time and I don't remember where we got them from...

I have had wonderful experiences with Meyer Hatchery. I used them twice last year and plan to use them 3 times this year. I pick the chickens up since I live only 100 miles from the hatchery. They are very user friendly.

The hatchery i have always used was Mcmurray hatchery. I always get healthy chicks and ive never lost a chick from them. IMO the best part from this hatchery is you get a free rare exotic chick which is always the most fun part!

I just ordered from Healthy Chicks & More. They were shipped yesterday (Sunday) & I got them at 7am this morning. Everyone was alive & I even had an extra BO chick in there.

I love Ideal. They have always been good to me. I ordered from them at first because they are in my same state so I figured less shipping stress on babies. Soooo, the best for you might be a close one.

My Pet Chicken is absolutely fantastic! I received 32 from them 5 weeks ago and they are all doing great! Ideal is good too. I received 16 from them at the same time. So those are the two companies that I got chicks from and all 48 are alive and thriving!

This is VERY true, but beware of faulty bloodlines when dealing in mass production. They purchase thier eggs from a vast number of suppliers and you do not get a chance to see the parent stock of what you are ordering, so, with this being noted, you are correct if your not into a specific quality.
