I've read loads of forums about coops & how they're basically not suitable for more than 1-2 chickens. But usually they're talking about "regular sized" chickens. I have 4 bantams & need something quick. Building our own is too expensive with the inflation of wood prices right now.

Any suggestions?

Four bantams need the same amounts of run space as regular chickens, but can deal with a bit less coop space. If you can find something with 40 square feet of run and ~18 square feet of coop, then it'll be ok, but I don't think that you will.

If I HAD to use prefab, here's what I'd use:
https://overezchickencoop.com/collections/all/products/large-overez-chicken-coop
with
https://www.omlet.us/shop/chicken_keeping/walk_in_chicken_run/
in the 6x9 size.
Alternatively:
https://www.mypetchicken.com/catalo...en-Coop-Plus-Run-up-to-15-chickens-p1788.aspx

These still list much larger chicken estimates than I'd put them in.

Unless you mean tiny tiny bantams like seramas or japanese bantams, those are what I'd go with.

The main issue with prefab might be undersized the 2nd is they are built from subpar materials. You pay all that money for one and it only lasts a year or 2. By the time you reinforce it and make it decent for birds you are redesigning and rebuilding the entire coop.

For a super fast coop...

Buy a shed and then pop out one wall and make that wire.

Until we realized just how badly deteriorated the metal shed on our old property was, I had thought to move it and use it for a quick chicken facility by taking the doors off, replacing them with wire, then using said doors to make a sort of "porch" on the other end to cover additional venting and provide a partially-covered run structure.

You can always make a pallet coop or use a chain link dog kennel. They're both easy to make a coop and run with. You might be able to get by with double layers of chicken wire if you don't have predators.Otherwise you'll need some hardware cloth. Tarps are cheap.
