I raise quail... I just ripped this tag off of the bag. This is what I feed my babies up until they are about 5 to 6 weeks old.

Yes, we have Palmer feeds that mix their own feeds. I have been watching My Shire farm and he was talking about a high protein level during chicks then going to a higher calcium for layers. What percentages do you recommend?

I recommend feeding 28% protein until they are about 6 weeks of age and then switching them to 16% layer crumble.

I raised happy healthy quail and I have no issues with feeding my birds the way I have mentioned above.
