Best dust bath for pharaoh jumbo courtinix quail + tuxedo quail

Can anyone recommend the best dust for quail for their dust bath (pharaoh & tuxedo quail) and can this sand be used for their bedding kind of like a chicken nest

Plain garden dirt or construction sand. They can be used for bedding too.

Remember there's no need to go and buy dirt if you have good dirt in your yard.

I use garden soil (from my paddock) and wood ash from the firepit They love both.

Came to say ashes, fresh burned ashes are really useful. Sand and dirt work too if they use them.
