ok I'm wondering what the best laying chickens are because I'm getting chickens later this year and I'm just courious so please tell me

Best producers are red sexlinks, black sexlinks and white leghorns.

Best year round layers are Plymouth rocks, Orpingtons and Rhode Island Reds.

Oh I have another question about those chickens do know any good hatcheries cheep chicks and not sold out chickens?

You just have to keep an eye on hatcheries. A lot of them are coming to the end of their season because the cold weather is starting. You could always buy yourself some hatching eggs on ebay and hatch them yourself.

Try McMurray hatchery; I've had great broods come from them, never lost axwee soul to date. I think they're still shipping everything but some duck varieties right now, and they have weekly hatches, so you can usually find a hatch date with the chicks you're wanting :)

Don't forget to check out Anconas, Black Australorp, and EE are great winter layers, but they don't have those at McMurray.. I think they call their red sex links "Red Stars"

Annnnd it looks like the red star pullets are not available until the 29th of this month lol... Ugh ;)

They have turkens in stock...https://m.www.mcmurrayhatchery.com/turkens_naked_necks.html

They're good layers and if you want something different, you'll like them ;)
