In all actuality its a personal choice. Some people will only use medicated or non, others all natural non-GMO etc. As long as its chick crumbles most do well on what ever feed. Other poultry may require different feed, normally for higher protein levels or a few nutrient requirements that are different.
A little advise though, TSC normally has high prices for feed (Name brands), try finding a feed store/co-op in your area. The generic feed normally has the same qualities as the name brand. And also feed store/co-op will sell feed in a 50# bag. Some feed/grains sold at TSC (And like places) are only 40# bags. And the smaller bags are really a lot more per ounce/pound.
