I tried, chicken would not stand still. Thinking.....

They aren't going to stand still, just hold on to your chicken/duck, put on whatever, and get someone to take a pic. It's good to get your bird(s) used to being restrained in case you need to take care of injury or illness etc. My little hen was so delighted to get sunflower seeds that she comes up to me every day since the costume day and asks to do it again.
