Best hatchery for barred rocks

My Barred Rock hatchery is kinda out of your area. They where bred by a APA University and the cocks cull out at 10+ in 18 weeks! The hens lay lots of eggs and they are very sex-able. The hens are jet black and the cocks are white headed.

I think what you are describing are black sexlinks.

No, I am dead sure they are Barred Rocks, maybe just a little to much breeding for that trait? The hens are full grown and look identical to the Barred Rock...they where advertised as 'Plymouth Rocks'.

Yes mine where very different shaped too!

It's funny that you guys mentioned the combs because the first thing I noticed about my birds from Meyer is that their combs looked almost identical (short and straight back with no big spikes). Of course, I only got two, so it could just be a coincidence.
