Best hatchery

I was wondering if anyone knew what the best hatchery to order baby black copper Maran chicks that are great quality and the hens will lay very dark eggs

If your looking for quality. . Look for breeders. . Even people on craigslist sell chicks.. ask where they got theirs. . Alot people get good eggs from breeders and hatch themselves these days

Agreed, for assured quality go to breeder. Expect to pay up to $15 per chick and $80 per dozen on hatching eggs. May be less, but it will depend on the quality and your area. More expensive than hatchery, but not if you dont get what you want and have to start over.
