Best hens for new chicks

What breed have you had the best luck with when it comes to introducing new chicks?

I won't introduce hens to chicks until the chicks are grown. Some folks have luck with broody hens where once the eggs hatch, they slip young chicks in.

Many hens will kill chicks. It's just the way they are.

they are so evil! I am not having to many problems with our banty rooster, or easter egger hens... it is just the stupid BR.
