Best incubator

My Little Giant incubator has died. I am now searching for a new incubator. What is a good, smaller, easy to use incubator that won't break to bank? Thanks!

I have 2 of the same incubator. Idk what it is called but it is made of styrofoam, has an egg turner that can hold about 30 eggs, and the top comes off. Sorry I dont know what it is called I will try to find out.

Those incubators normally work well for me. One is for hatching chicks and the other is for them to dry off. Sometimes they have problems maintaining temperature. One time this happened and all the eggs died

I've used Little Giants before but never again. IMO they suck.
I use Hovabators with wafer thermostats.

The Hovabator looks great. Does it have a humidity control? I don't need an egg turner. Can the hatched chicks stay on there to dry off?

All of the Hovabator models I'm aware of use water reservoirs in the bottom to control humidity. No dials, you control the humidity by which reservoirs you fill with water. It is not real precise and you need to do some experimenting before you start incubating to learn which reservoirs to fill to get your desired humidity. I'd guess your Little Giant worked the same way.

I used the 1588 model. It took a little tweaking to get the temperature right and I had to learn which reservoirs to fill but once I got it set up it was very stable on the temperature. I had to watch the humidity but once I figured out what to do it wasn't hard but if you want a humidity dial the Hovabator is not for you.

You can leave the chicks in any incubator to dry off as long as you don't have a staggered hatch and you can turn the turner off or remove it at lockdown.

In the US there used to be three basic brands, Little Giants, Hovabator, and Brinsea. As you know since you used one, a lot of chicks have been hatched by the Little Giants. The Hovabator were better quality but probably not much more user friendly. The Brinsea were the top of the line and priced appropriately. But now that backyard chickens have become so trendy there are so many different makes and models I don't have a clue what is available or how user friendly or high quality they are.

I like my KEBONNIXS so far. The temp and humidity sensors are close but I use a Bluetooth sensor that alerts my phone. I have a small flock and don't need more that 12 eggs at a time. At $100, you can't expect much more.
