. I got homemade ones and hova bator 1588 with and egg tuner.

I wish I knew but I've never incubated any eggs as of yet. I do hope to soon though! I plan on getting some hatching eggs in October. So that will be my first experience in incubating. I plan on making my own incubator from a wine cooler.

You probably need to post your question in the Incubating & Hatching Eggs section. Here is the link for you.

:frow & :welcome from Alabama. Glad you joined us. Hovabators and Brinseas are both great incubators that are fairly inexpensive, and probably some of the most commonly used ones on here. I have both types of incubators (a Hovabator 1588 and an older 1611, a Brinsea Octagon 20 Eco and a mini Brinsea) and really love them. The 1588 and the Brinseas are preset, so that makes them very, very easy to use. There's a Labor Day sale going on at Brinsea right now, you get 10% off if you use a coupon code.

Hi and welcome to BYC from northern Michigan

"Best" and "Inexpensive" do not really go together when talking about incubators. Cheap ones usually cost you a lot in time, money and failed egg hatches. I also have a Hovabator 1588, it is great.

i think the best and most affordable incubators out there are: orpingtons, silkies, bantoms. ( maybe not in that order ) good luck !!! :)
