That is encouraging news!!

How much did you pay for yours? I found one for $103.99, is that a good price?

That's a great price. I work at a small store and their wholesale price is $102!

Any updates on how it is working?

Bookmarked it. I'm hunting for a great "first incubator" asap, as I made a business contact yesterday that will buy all the birds I can hatch, so suffice to say I need to start hatching... asap. >_<

I have the farm innovator pro series 4200. I am having a very difficult time having it hold temp. I tried to lower my hatcher temp. to 98 and the incubator varies 3 degrees. It has taken me hours to try to stabilize it. I am using a little giant for my incubator and that one holds its temp. much better.

i am VERY new to hatching and I am looking to see what is the best most inexpensive incubator? I do like the ones with fans and auto-turners. found one with a plastic liner to make easy cleaning as well. What are ya'll experiences with what incubators work best? Pros and cons of different ones as well.

just a hobby breeder :)

Nasco Modesto sells a liner that fits LG and FI incubators. I have one of them and one Hovabator (the new Genesis that has the thermostat preset). I MUCH prefer the Hova. Starting lockdown today on first hatch

Good luck to you!

Well I posted earlier about my Farm Innovators Incubator. I am still having problems with temp. It dips 3.5 degrees before turning back on. My Little Giant only dips .5 degree. So I contacted Farm Innovators via email thinking maybe it was a bad thermostat. The lady that responded totally ignored the fact that the temp dips so far and said she would get me in contact with people to teach me how to hatch chickens if need be as they never proclaimed to be experts. I would strongly recommend against the Farm Innovators incubator. The next incubator I purchase will be the Genesis Hovabator, through truly I am not having any problems with my Little Giant so far.

i have a hovabator genesis that works very well. I get very good hatch rates with it but the styrofoam is a pain to clean. I imagine if you line the inside with foil or saran wrap it would make it a snap to clean.

the Farm Innovators incubator is a hunk of junk. Even if you can stabilize the temps. the built in thermometer is way off and the thermostat only works for the first couple of hatches. There's a reason they are so cheap. Pure garbage. Waste of money. Maybe someone else has been able to use it for more than two clutches?
