Best Layer - Brahma, Isa Brown, Australorp, or Cuckoo Marans?

I have both a brahma and marans (black copper), and they both lay well.
I would also suggest legbars, cochins (LF... Yes.. pple say they dont lay well bit mine do), orpingtons, and wyandottes. :)

For maximum egg production; leghorns, sex-links, production reds, maybe Australorps.
For cold weather areas, Australorps, Marans, EEs, Wyandottes, Plymouth Rocks, Chanteclers; these are also larger and less frentic birds, easier to live with, and more pleasant in the flock with each other.
Look at Henderson's breed chart, feathersite, and the catalogs, and just pick some that look good to you!

Right now I have 4 BOs, I'm getting 3 - 4 eggs per day since they started laying in Oct. I've had Blue Wynadottes, got 4 - 5 eggs per day.
Had RIR (didn't care for their attitude/personality) they'd lay every other day, had a dozen so that didn't matter.
I've heard Australorps are good layer as are the Barred Rocks & Marans.
