I am just wondering. We still have about 2 feet of snow on the ground up here, and I have ice in my yard too.

WOW! When do you think the weather will be sunny and warmer? I'd wait till it was warmer. We did have a hen hatch eggs latter in the summer.

For now, I will just wait till about May 28th till I get the new chicks ordered. Just wanted to have some the natural way up here instead of buying more.

Does anyone know how long a hen will sit on her baby chickens?

She will sit on them until she thinks there ready to be by them selves and then she will leave.
