Best plants and vines for chicken runs

What is best vines to run on chicken runs and best plants to plant around them

Cucumbers, beans, squash, peas. Plant around them: kale, nasturtiums, calendula, marigold, any mints, day lilly. It depends on what your goals are and what you like. Personally, I would not want to eat any raw veggies that grow adjacent to the chicken run.

Sweet potato vines are good too. I've planted some and hung them from the top of my run fence and the vines grow down providing shade in the summer. Occasionally they'll peck at the edible leaves as well. LG mentioned nasturtium and that's another good one as well since it is all edible to the chickens.

I planted grapevines.it creates shade. Come fall it loses it leaves.My girls love the grapes they produce.

I’ve heard of people planting a climbing rose on a run fence. Chickens like to eat the petals that fall.
And grapevines too.
