Im back to chickens after several years without them. I'm looking for opinion/ experiences with different breed that are better at avoiding predation, friendly, cold tolerant, and decent layers. I had a great experience with pumpkins hulsey but would like a little more diversity than that and they didn't do great in the cold weather.

Thanks!

Pumpkin Hulsey should do great in the cold, might have to dub the males. Leghorns are good egg layers, good at getting away, but not nearly as friendly as the gamefowl.
