best rain barrel for chicken waterer

There are dozens of rain barrels. I am considering using one to water my chicks. Which one would be the best?

Dunno if it matters much, food grade would be best. But my chickens have never complained about the regular garden hose I use to fill the water lol. They do have access to an auto filling water dish that has a stainless steel food grade hose. They don't seem to care and use whichever one they happen to be closer to at the time.

Really doesn't matter. Your chicks/chickens will be happy to drink out of a dirty mud puddle. Look on Craigslist or FB Marketplace and get a cheap, sturdy one.

Just make sure that you have a screen on top of the barrel to keep stuff from falling in.

Otherwise... use whatever works.
