My dad used to answer the phone "Pops crematorium, you kill 'em, we grill 'em!".

Around Christmas I started getting telemarketing calls on my cell phone. It was the same company everytime, I'd kindly asked them to stop calling. So, about the 5th time they called I gave the phone to my daughter (6) and told her it was Santa and he wanted to know what she wanted for Christmas. They haven't called back since

I had a telemarketer call and I must have been in a funky mood as I answered the phone

"Hi, I am Joe from XYZ company. How are you today, Miss"

"I am pg by my boyfriend and my hubby ran off with my best friend, my mother has cancer and I need a smoke"...then I weeped a few tears then stopped and then...

"Uh, you don't need what we are selling" and hung up

sometimes I pick up the phone and do various of the above, much to the delight of my spouse or company.

I'm on the do not call register which cut it down a lot.

For those that get through I simply say sorry I don't respond to any phone canvasing, thanks bye.
