Best Run Setup

Hello! I have seven silkies that will be 19 weeks old on Wednesday currently have a 32 x 24 run and I was wondering what I could put in the run to make the chickens happy (roosts, swings...?)
They already have their food and water outside hanging from the frame.
So a few questions:
What would they like to have in their run?
Will they be okay if their chicken door to their coop is open when it's 37degrees F outside?
What's a good way to cover their food so it doesn't get wet?
Any answers would be great!

I have 4 silkies. I live in nh where it's very cold out right now and I open the coop door to their run every morning. I figure if it's too cold they won't come out but to my amazement they do every morning. It's been 0 degrees and colder. They don't like the snow or wind but if it's cold and sunny they r fine.
