I couldn't resist checking out Nature's Hatchery after some of the earlier posts ... they do list a meat breed silky for the "asian gourmets" or something like that. Maybe check out the site?

We ate some silkie roos a few years back, they were really tasty, moist, and fatty, mmm, good...You just had to get over the black skin and killing a cute little furr ball...that part was hard...
