I wonder what would happen if you bred the chicks back to the parents?Yeah. I got 5 chicks. There HUGE compared to my tiny bantam chicks! They are way healthier than their mom. The legs and wings a better but their still fat and heavy.

I'm gonna breed my f1 roo to his mom, and maybe to his sisters.I wonder what would happen if you bred the chicks back to the parents?
I’m unsure whether they are bantam Cornish cross or standard, but I suspect most likely standard. Are yours bantam Cornishx or standard? Do you have pictures of them?
Yes I'd say yours are standard compared to the cantaloupe. I'm not sure on the combs but my hens don't have large comb and wattles. My girls laid an egg yesterday and two today. It seems like a lot, but then again I’m coming from not expecting any eggs.
I’ve noticed three of the hens comb and wattles have been getting a brighter red and a little bigger. They were small and paler than the others. Is that typical?

her daddy's a nacked neck. The 3rd pic if her sister, but I don't think she got the NN.What breed is the second chicken? Are the neck bald on all or were her feathers plucked?
I think you may need to ease up on the food if you are planning on breeding them. They look like they headed for the freezer............My girls laid an egg yesterday and two today. It seems like a lot, but then again I’m coming from not expecting any eggs.
