best time of year for new chicks

    Because of some timing issues, I want to wait until the end of June to get my new chicks. I live in Arkansas if that means anything and I am getting 3 standard breed hens.

    I just need to know if it's okay to get day old chicks that late in the year or if you really need to do it in spring.

    In my opinion, I think it doesn't matter when you get them as long as you have a place to keep them warm.

    the only thing is this in june its going tobe hot to ship chicks.but they should be ok to get them in june.personally i like to try an get them before it gets to hot.
