Best Type of Latch?

Just wondering what is the best type of latch to secure all the doors on the hen house?

The kind with a hole to hang a padlock from, particularly if the latch is low to the ground. No raccoon I know of has ever figured out how to open a padlock without the key (but I hear they are working on it).

(A good rule is if a two year old child can open the lock, so can a raccoon.)

Don't leave the key where the raccoons can find it or they may just use it to open the lock!
