I like the design just fine, but it needs a larger hole to clean it with. It tends to get dirty on the inside. I have to wash it out with a wire brush every once in a while. Otherwise, I do that hole in the bucket thing and then I put the bucket in a slightly larger pan so they can only stick their heads in. I ended up using a stainless steel kitchen pan I got off amazon. Much easier to clean.
Only other thing I can think of doing is keeping their water far enough away from their bed so that by the time they get to it, they're dried from walking on the grass on the way lol.
