Best waterers and feeders

What are the best waterers and feeders for chickens and best wormers for chickens?

I think it's best to use 5 gallon feeder that you modify with PVC pipe and 5 gallon horizontal nipple waterer...... though I don't have this setup, it is good for a nice size flock. My setup is pretty simple since I only have 2 chickens, just those regular plastic waterer/feeder that gives you the option of hanging it. Works good enough for me.

For feeders, I use a small or medium sized dog dish put in a larger dog dish. This keeps them from tipping the feeder over or scooping out feed onto the ground. Chickens love to fling feed!

As for waterers, I use the standard plastic poultry waterers.

When I need to worm I use Safeguard liquid or paste.

Hello..In summer I use a giant plastic water font up on bricks. In winter I use a rubber livestock bowl so it's easy to kick out ice. Feed I have a metal hanging feeder.
I have never dewormed a Chicken...

We have 7 hens. We use horizontal nipples in a 5 gallon bucket. It is under the coop, so it stays reasonably cool and they do not poop on it. The feeder is some scrap PVC. There is virtually no waste. It hangs where water rarely gets it.

I use standard poultry feeders. They each hold about 25 pounds of feed. For winter I use a 10 gallon tote, horizontal nipples and a stock tank deicer for their water. That way the girls only need food and water replaced once a week during the winter. I actually have the young man across the street do the watering and feeding during the winter. With COPD I just can't haul things outside in the freezing cold.

There are so many varieties of feeders and waterers. The best kind for you is the one that makes it easiest for you to tend to your birds. We all have different needs based on our coop and run set ups, number of birds, and weather.

I use grandpa feeders. One smaller one in their coop and a larger one in the run. No waste, wild birds can't use it, hold a lot of feed and chickens learn to use it pretty quick.

A standard one in my silkies pen
And one with a 20litre drum and tube with drinking cups. Some in the coop, some positioned outside it for daytime.

My game plan is to make my life as easy as possible. I fill water once a week, and feed the same.

I use horizontal nipples for my waterers. The water stays clean 24/7.
I have 2 DIY no waste feeders, they work well.

For feeders we bought pvc drain pipes , cut to length and glued end caps on , hubby made a stand for them as they do tip them . This allowed us to have anything from a two foot to a 6 foot long feeder, no fighting at the trough at my place

Waterer that I love and have one in each coop ... this one raised up on a tree stump , surrounded by 2x4 cut offs for them to jump up to drink , clean with vinegar once a week , add ice or electrolytes.. easy and they love it
