I use standard poultry feeders.  They each hold about 25 pounds of feed.  For winter I use a 10 gallon tote, horizontal nipples and a stock tank deicer for their water.  That way the girls only need food and water replaced once a week during the winter.  I actually have the young man across the street do the watering and feeding during the winter.  With COPD I just can't haul things outside in the freezing cold.  
There are so many varieties of feeders and waterers.  The best kind for you is the one that makes it easiest for you to tend to your birds.  We all have different needs based on our coop and run set ups, number of birds, and weather.
