Chicken Feeder and Waterer

Wow that’s a really nice and creative set up. How many birds do you have ? Mix of roosters and hens ?

Here's a pic of the last flock after I relocated them to the new coop.

You might notice a standard waterer in there and that's because I wanted to make sure they still got water until I "trained" them to get their water from the big one. I did that by sitting in the coop with them and used a laser pointer to draw their attention to the nipples.

They do.

If you can zoom in on the picture, there's a stool, a halfway roost, and then their nighttime roost in the upper left corner.

The stool and halfway roost gives them something to hop on for fun or whatever, but I put them there to aid them in getting to the top roost.

The flaw in that setup, although it hasn't been proven yet (I also had a similar setup in the older coop), is there is a chance they could injure themselves coming down in the morning.
