I got pretty frustrated with my horizontal nipples freezing. I went and bought just aheated waterer that's open at the bottom. What a mess again! Luckily we don't always have freezing temps so I don't have to use it much!

Here is my heater/water base.

Use it with horizontal nipple 5 gallon bucket, or other water container of your choice, and pretty much forget about it for a few years...

Forever Water Heater one that lasts.

no, cups are not good for winter as the cups freeze in freezing weather.

Here's ours... Careful not to screw the nipples in so tight that you crack the plastic or you'll spring a leak and the water bucket heater seems to work the lest without risk of fire

Nice! I like it. Yeah, we did that the first go around...leaky bucket.

You screw it just till its in, but not tight.
