I was able to obtain some 13' x 5' pallets that we used to build our run. I want to use PVC to create a domed roof that will be covered with welded wire. What is the best way to attach the PVC pipe to the pallet tops? And what diameter PVC would you use? I do plan on having at least part of the run roof covered with greenhouse tarp for most of the year for protection from rain/snow. Run is roughly 8' wide.

The 1.5 inch PVC pipe fits perfectly on top of the t-post. We just did that to mount a blue bird house onto a t-post yesterday!

You will have to use 3/4 pvc for it to bend uniformly down the run, anything bigger won’t bend. You can screw directly into the pvc and into the pallets or pre-drill the pvc and anchor into the pallets.. you can make a “skeleton” with the 3/4 pvc, Ts on the ends, and 4 way couplings in the middle, cut 20’ pvc into 10’ pieces and dry fit pipe into fittings and drill holes thru the joints and “pin” it with stiff wire and bend it over, that way you can take it apart if you ever need to and it will “flex” instead of being rigid with glued joints.. they will break with freezing and thawing of season change.. I’ve built many hoophouses and chicken tractors using this method.. works great and very cheap..

Cattle panels are awful expensive and overkill if you are topping it with welded wire anyhow.. maybe the one section you plan to use a skin on would be smart for snow..
