Best way to care for a single emu chick?

Soon I'm getting an emu chick that unfortunately doesn't have a partner, I heard they can be raised alone but I'm unsure of this.

I would think having a stuffed toy would be soothing, and a mirror so he thinks there is another chick in with him. I think he/she would imprint on you. Is there any chance you could get a second one?

Do you also like ducks or geese? A duck can be a good friend. We lost 1 chick, the remaining chick was so lonely. That was until “Angie” came. Best of buds now. Took a day or so but they sure love one another’s company. Snuggle up together to nap. Sure, their size difference looks odd but they don’t seem to care at all. Very cute really.

I have a single emu chick also, I have a stuffed animal, plannning on getting a feather duster or something. Unfortunately no chicks here at the moment just full grown chickens.
