Best Way to Feed Chickens Zucchini / Squash ?

Would you store them in a cold room for a winter treat?

I have access to a cabbage field that they do very late crop in. I go in after they freeze for winter and collect what I can, they stay frozen most of the winter and I hang them so they can peck at them to keep themselves busy during winter. I do the same thing with pumpkins just break them in half and they have them all winter. I just store them in a very shaded area and that kind of stuff stays frozen for me most of the winter.
