Best way to offer grit to chicks?

What is the best way to offer grit to chicks? I am currently just sprinkling their food with it now that they are in the coop. Since I have 15 outside now I wondered if putting it in a separate bin would be good or just mix it with their hanging feeder?

I just put mine out with the big girls.....they have a sand box with play sand. The little ones peck in there...so no need for grit. Plus they get to dust bathe like the bigguns. If you want to add grit, just put some in a small pan, they will take what they need.
