Best way to put eggs in incubator - on side or upright?

What day are you on? Were they shipped eggs or your own?

They were shipped, took 6 days to get here, went into incubator 11 days ago. Candling them they are looking perfect inside except air sac is on the pointy side down??

I have them in egg cartons w/ lots of poked holes. I was told pointy side down.......the air sac on pointy side is troubling for me. The chix is filling up almost half the egg inside...

Shipping can really take its toll on the eggs. Have you candled from the fat end of the egg? Some good advice here - Air sac pointy end.
