Dealing with bumblefoot, and I’m so very very grateful for all the advice I’ve gotten.

What is the best, easiest way to soak ducks feet in epsom salt/betadine?
I always get covered with nasty water, duck gets super pissy after a few minutes. I’ve seen a duck in a bucket online. That looked so stressful for the duck, but what I’m doing is a right time consuming messy pita.
Ideas please, and thank you.

I saw on Gold Shaw Farm he soaked a ducks foot with a bucket and capped it but had a hole just big enough for the duck head to pop out. Obviously when close the duck seemed a little more stressed but before approaching seemed very calm. I never even thought of putting a duck in a bucket but seeing that seemed to be the best way to approach that situation.

The other day on IG, I saw someone put their duck in a plastic tote with about 2"-3" of water and then what looked like a crate separator that you would use in a dog crate over the top of the tote to keep the duck in. I thought that was a good idea since you wouldn't have to cut the lid of the tote.
