Best White Egg Layer (must be calm and people friendly)

I recently realized that I have every color in my egg basket except white! Soooo, I am looking for the BEST white egg layer out there to add to my flock of Marans, Ameraucanas, Olive Eggers & Swedish Flower Hens. I have done a little digging and I am finding that a lot of the white egg layer breeds are known for being flighty and that they avoid human contact :(. Hey, I'm not looking for a lap chicken... I just want a flock that runs to me... not away from me. So I am here looking for advice on the happiest, friendliest breed that lays a WHITE egg! :) Thanks in advance

Just wanted to follow up and share that I ended up getting some really wonderful white egg layers. I went with California Greys... because I'm a sucker for barred chickens. I have found this breed to be very friendly and easy going and quirky and they lay a HUGE WHITE EGG pretty much everyday. Highly recommend this breed if you are looking to add a white egg to your basket. I got mine from Privett Hatchery.

I have one Blue Andalusian and she is really sweet... not flighty like I've heard. She follows me, and likes to have pets/cuddles.
But, I'm going to assume that maybe she is the exception rather than the rule.

I was also searching for the same thing! What I have found is that the California White is what we may be looking for. They are winter hardy, even though they are not large birds 5 lbs. They are good for an urban setting (so, I am guessing are not noisy), they are calmer than the leghorns and lay 300+ large white eggs a year. They start laying around 17 weeks old.
