My chickens do.....The cats will catch things the chickens will notice and then then the cats will just drop it and run becuase they know they're gonna lose anyways. The friggen chickens eat ANYTHING. You can always tell when the chickens ate it--it's either gone or it's picked completely clean

My two week old Call ducklings fought over a small dead frog the other day...it was gross!! Those little guys will eat anything they can put into their mouths!

My cat killed a dove and the chickens were fighting over the carcass

Then just yesterday, my cat found a dead mouse in the chickens' fan that had been cut up by the fan blades

There was a trail of ants going to it and it was gross so I unscrewed the fan and took it out for my kitty to do what she wanted with it. Then my giant cochin started pecking at it! My cats have caught sparrows in the past and left things behind (feathers, intestines, beaks) and the chickens clean up for them

I just don't know what to say

whenever a baby bird is fledging and falls out of the tree near my ducks or chickens they will eat it. in a way its sad and discusting, but its nature

o i bet she enjoyed it! my ducks, geese, chickens, and peacocks eat them if they get the chance.. atleast you know that the mice population should be in check
